Lembas

"Eat little at a time, and only at need. For these things are given to serve you when all else fails. The cakes will keep sweet for many many days, if they are unbroken and left in their leaf-wrappings, as we have brought them. One will keep a traveler on his feet for a day of long labour, even if he be one of the tall men of Minas Tirith."

The Fellowship of the Ring, "Farewell to Lorien"

Lembas, also called Elven bread or Waybread in the Common Speech, was a special food made by the Elves in the Lord of the Rings. It was meant to sustain a traveler on his journey. We too, need food for our journey and it is our hope that these stories from our young people would be like food unto your soul as you journey towards Jesus.

Receive Lord Jesus, This Heart of Worship

My Journey

Nicolette Pereira, current and 24th President of NTU’s Catholic Students’ Apostolate, shares her journey: I never had a very close relationship with God and was only a mundane Sunday Catholic but there was always something that I felt was lacking in my life. University Leaders’ Recollection

“Abide in me, as I abide in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in Him, bears much fruit, for without me, you are able to do nothing.”  John […]
