Book Review: In the Name of Jesus

In this book, Henri Nouwen writes about the principles of Christian leadership using Jesus’ minstry as his backdrop. The book is broken into 3 main sections that detail the 3 temptations of Jesus: The Temptation to be Relevant, The Temptation to be Spectacular, The Temptation to be Powerful. For each temptation, he proposes antidotes that are grounded in “communal and mutual experience”. A must-read for all who engage in and desire to engage in ministry.
