Day of Recollection (DOR)

The Day of Recollection aims to give students a space to pray and listen to the Lord.

 

 

 

Exam Mass & Outreach

We desire to remind students that amid the busyness of studies, they are loved by Jesus and encourage them to put Jesu at the centre of their lives. We also hope to provide a platform for Catholic students to meet and make friends with each other.

 

 

 

 

Seeds of Growth

Seeds of Growth is a series of formation sessions for JC/IB students. It is a 4 week program and will take place in Oct and Nov. We hope to create a space for students to grow their faith in the midst of their busyness. Come and receive what the Lord has in store for you!

SHINE Combined Tertiary Retreat

Through this retreat, we hope to facilitate encounters with the love and mercy of Jesus. We desire to help participants see themselves through the eyes of Jesus, familiarise them with the concept of truth and plant seeds of discipleship. We also encourage participants to join their respective campus communities.

NS Enlistees Outreach

Our outreach to NSFs is one of companionship and encouragement. We hope to inspire them to walk close to Jesus despite the demands and difficulties of NS life. We also extend the invitation to commit to journeying in community.

School of Christian Leadership (SOCL)

The school seeks to deepen participants’ encounter with the love of Jesus and to lead participants to go into deeper discipleship. The school also aims to prepare participants for leadership roles in their respective campus communities as well as impart tools for pastoring and ministering.

 

 

 

KICKSTART: Freshmen Gathering

KICKSTART is freshman gathering for Catholic university students. We encourage students to put Jesus first as they embark on their university lives. It also aims to provide a platform for Catholic students to get to know their seniors and respective campus communities.

 

 

 

SG CATHOLIC STUDENTS IN EUROPE: COMMUNITY GATHERING

Our commuity of Singapore Catholic Students in Europe will be gathering in London from 25-27 Oct! Graduating Uni Students Retreat (GUR)

GUR helps graduating students take stock of their university journey and facilitate an awareness of where God is calling them at this important crossroads of their lives. We also encourage participants to join a working adults community as they transition from students to working life.

 

 

 

 

Combined Uni Retreat (CUR)

CUR aims to facilitate encounters with the love and mercy of Jesus in hopes that participants will come to see themselves through the eyes of Jesus. We desire to familiarise participants with the concept of truth and plant the seeds of discipleship in participants. We also encourage participants to join their campus communities.

 

 

 

 

WORKING ADULTS

TREASURE: Working Adults Encounter Retreat

TREASURE is an encounter retreat for working adults that aims to facilitate encounters with the love and mercy of Jesus. We introduce participants to the concepts of truth and their identity in God and sow the seeds of discipleship. We also encourage participants to explore joining community.

 

 

 

 

Fishers of Men Series (Leaders’ Formation)

This formation series encourages participants to a greater level of discipleship, prepares them for leadership roles and imparts tools for pastoring and ministering.

 

 

 

 

Emmaus in the City

Emmaus in the City brings the gospel into the heart of the city in a manner that is attractive to young working adults. We encourage young working adults to enter into an active life of discipleship and to take ownership of their faith by joining community.

 

 

 

 

Evangelical Events & Programs

School of Witness (SOW)

SOW is an 8-week, live-in discipleship school. It is open to any young person between 18 – 35 years of age.  The school aims to provide an environment of faith in which young people can be encouraged and challenged to go beyond their comfort zones, to grow in the awareness of who God is and who they are. SOW typically runs from January to March every year, with a short break over the lunar new year holidays.

 

 

 

Catholic Youth Day (CYD)

Once every 3 years, in conjunction with World Youth Day, OYP holds Catholic Youth Day (CYD) – an evangelistic gathering of over 2,000 people over 24 hours. This event emphasises our identity as one, holy, Catholic and Apostolic church, gathering young people from every corner of the Church in Singapore. CYD presents a variety of activities, providing various ways and means for participants to encounter the Good News.

 

 

 

Nox Gaudii

Nox Gaudii is OYP’s bi-monthly night of worship, preaching, adoration and prayer ministry. Nox Gaudii is typically held at our premises at 2 Lorong Low Koon, but since 2017, we have held it twice at the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd – once as part of the Cathedral’s rededication celebrations, and the other as an outreach and  evangelisation effort. The event is open to everyone and anyone who falls within the ages of 16 – 35.
