Dear Friends,

We hope that you are keeping well.

By the grace of God, we have made it through the Circuit Breaker!!! We invite you to take a moment to celebrate this little victory. Indeed, the Lord is always faithful and always present through the gift of His Holy Spirit. As we celebrated Pentecost this past Sunday, we were reminded, "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you."- John 14:26

Never has our faith been put to the test more than during these current times. Let us then open our heart anew to receive the Holy Spirit who is our advocate and friend for He is ever-present, ever available and always for us! Amen!

RECEIVE THE SPIRIT

The celebration of Pentecost is not a one-off moment in the liturgical calendar but rather, a reminder of the fact that the Lord has given us access to everything we possibly need through His Holy Spirit. Let us remember Him and call to Him even in the songs of our hearts!

We invite you to listen as you read on.

WHAT I LEARNED DURING THE CIRCUIT BREAKER

"When the circuit breaker started, I never expected much from this time and expected the day-to-day to be mundane. Clearly, the Lord had a completely different and more exciting plan for me; a plan which only began to unravel as I sat with the Lord in solitude and responded to His gentle promptings." - Isabel Ann De Silva

As you read Isabel's beautiful reflection, we invite you to think of what the Lord has shown you during this period and give thanks! Click below for the full article.

SUNDAYS ON THE MOUNT

Who: All young people (16-35 years)
When: 4 consecutive Sundays, starting from 24 May (Sun), 3-5pm
Where: Online!

More than 300 young people gathered together for Sundays on the Mount to break the Word of God together over the last 3 sessions! We reflected on what/who we were living for, what makes us unfree, and the movement towards living as beloved children of God.

"I am thankful to God for the reigniting of our faith through the Holy Spirit especially in this trying time, for the revelation of our bondage in our sharing group and the strength to step out of our comfort." - Aloisius Stephen, 26

Join us for the final session this coming Sunday!

UPCOMING:

KICKSTART FRESHMEN INITIATIVE

Are you entering University this year? Worried but excited about the next chapter of your life? God cares for you and for your future! KICKSTART your University adventure with Him today!! He has GOOD things in store for you!

"Through Kickstart, I discovered the many flawed beliefs that I held about community. Although it was terrifying for me to be in a totally new environment with other freshmen, I was more inspired by the leadership and kingdom friendships of the service team. This showed me the beauty of community and helped me to integrate with the Catholic community at my university. This made me realise that community is essential to our faith - our journey with Jesus Christ is personal but it cannot survive as a private affair. The Lord is knocking on your door! Will you allow Him to support you in your university journey - through brothers and sisters that will keep you grounded when you feel the most insecure? Friends, if so, I wholeheartedly invite you to sign up for this retreat." - Brian Janelle Sanio, NUS CSS

UPCOMING: PRE-ENLISTEES & NSFs

MARCHING WITH CHRIST

Are you a pre-enlistee or NSF? Join us for our outreach! NS can be tough, but the Lord has not abandoned you. He goes before you and desires to use this period to mould you into the man that He made you to be. Come and see how you can march with Christ during these two years!

"My cadet training was physically and mentally tough for me. Though I had friends alongside me, it was difficult to confide in them as we were expected to “man up” and I was afraid of being seen as weak. However, the CAYA Community has helped me to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus during these difficult moments. Through their personal faith sharings, prayers and presence, I am reminded to center my identity in Christ and to draw strength from Him." - Timothy Chua

See you on Sat, 13th Jun, from 10am-1pm on Zoom! Please sign up below to receive the Zoom link.
