“Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord.”
We praise and thank God for the works that He had done during CUR and the start of a beautiful journey, recognising the reason for Christmas, making space for baby Jesus to be born in our hearts.
“I entered CUR with a weary heart, being bogged down by the worldly desires that I endlessly chased and feared. I was always thankful for God, but I never felt like any part of my life needed saving. However, the biggest gift from CUR was the clarity towards this pride that I held so strongly. I realised that only God could heal me, only He could take these worries away. And God is my one and only source of strength. I want to continue celebrating his Grace.”

“I’ve had a prior encounter with Christ before but the rigours of the academic semester left me a little jaded as my heart started desiring and striving for other things of the world. CUR was really a good and timely reminder for me that the Lord is and always will be present in my life, through the ups and downs. It’s up to me to be open to Him and to let God be God, especially in the areas of my life I do not have control over. Having this security that God is for me, with me and within me has really reminded me how joyful life can be this Christmas season and beyond. Thus, I hope to be able to carry this joy with me through Christmas and in the next year, radiating and sharing this joy with the people around me as well.”
