The Holy Spirit Works in My Thoughts

The Holy Spirit is a mysterious person that you need to be open to and aware of to encounter. For me, I find it really hard to see the Holy Spirit working in my life, but when I start to look out of myself, and at the world with open eyes, I am able to see the Spirit work in every small way; for example, in my thoughts and conscience. In my thoughts, good or bad, the Spirit reveals what the Lord invites me to do. When I am restless, and want to give up, He invites me to lean on Him and on His strength, instead of my own. When I am doubtful, he invites me to trust more fully in Him. When I face lies, he fights them with me, and speaks truth into my heart.
