What Is The One Thing Necessary This Lent?

Lent is finally upon us! We begin this journey by observing Ash Wednesday, joining the universal Church in abstinence and fasting. And a wonderful way is to start by making the effort to attend mass. For some of us, this could be a difficult step as it means having to wake up earlier for a morning mass, or forgoing our lunch break to go down for mass at noon. Yet all of us undertaking this journey of Lent are not spared from the inconveniences and discomforts that comes with our Lenten abstinence and fasting. Let us find strength and perseverance by focusing on who we are doing this for and take this step together as part of your commitment this Lent!
