SMU FIDES

We are a community of Catholic students seeking to live as joyful witnesses of the Gospel in every aspect of our lives. We gather every Wednesday at 8:00pm to worship God in song, share the Gospel and to catch up with friends and cell groups. Mass is celebrated every alternate Friday at 4:00pm. If you are a Catholic student attending, or about to attend SMU, don’t be shy! Come and join us!

Chaplain: Office for Young People

SUTD Refuge Catholic Community

University is an important and defining time for all of us. SUTD is a challenging place to be. It stretches both our academic and mental capacity. We hope to be pillars of support for each other and to grow in our faith journey through prayer, fellowship and discipleship as a community. We meet on Mondays at 6pm for dinner, fellowship and prayer meetings. Join us as we build community and be missionaries for Christ!

Chaplain: Office for Young People

SUSS Catholic Students Community

We meet every Tuesday at 7:30pm on campus. If you are interested in learning more about us, please contact Debbie, who is our pastoral shepherd.

NUS Catholic Students Society

We serve the Catholic student community on campus, while striving to represent the face of Christ and His Church in the university enterprise. Under the direction of our Chaplain, we aim to foster spiritual growth and development amongst our members, while providing a strong base of spiritual and social support for young Catholic students striving to live the Gospel. At the same time, we strive to promote Catholic values in the wider society. We are a recognised student organisation under the NUS Office of Student Affairs, as well as a registered society under the Registry of Societies Singapore.

Mass is celebrated every Thursday at 6:30pm and Antioch sessions occur every other Thursday at 8:00pm. To find out more, please contact us at the email address below!

Anchor Community

We are a community of Singaporean Catholic university students spread across Europe, who are on a journey of growing closer to the heart of our Father, even as we are geographically far apart! Shepherded by the Office for Young People (OYP), under the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Singapore, we are pilgrims scattered throughout the continent, but united together in faith. Since its genesis in 2018, our small community has grown and expanded in size and spirit. Despite physically living in a foreign land, we aim to bring each other home to our Father’s house.

Our community gathers Singaporean students in Europe to partake in the mission of raising up a generation for Christ. We hold regular community events, including weekly online cell group sessions, times of fellowship, as well as Days of Recollection held throughout the academic year. Just as God sends us forth, He does not abandon us nor forsake us. As a community of brothers and sisters, we encourage each other to grow in holiness and relate to each other with the mind of Christ. We hope that community living will inspire faith and provide support for our Singaporeans who are studying abroad, as a reminder of God’s love and a testament of his faithfulness!

US Community

The US community is connects Singaporean university students studying in the United States. We gather online and on days of recollection to deepen our relationship with the Lord. This home away from home allows us to be carried by and also carry our brothers and sisters to Jesus. If you are a student studying in US and would like to be connected, you may contact Gerald (@gleewj) or Geraldine (@gerisoh) on Telegram.

AU Community

The AU community is a group of Singaporean Catholic students studying in Australia. As a community, we desire to encounter Jesus Christ while studying abroad. Although we may be far from home, we are never far from the One. So, we journey with each other to grow and deepen our personal relationship with God. Embarking on this journey to become intentional disciples, we constantly encourage each other to live out our faith as university students in Australia. Despite being apart physically, we are united as ONE church, ONE spirit, and ONE body of Christ.
