KICKSTART: Grateful for Community

by Alisha Lavendra, Yale-NUS

Community life has kept me accountable for maintaining my faith life in NUS. The hectic nature of school makes it easy to get lost in the worldly and we forget that we are called to serve God in our thoughts, words and deeds. Going for campus mass and CG sessions provide the dedicated time and space for me to reflect on my thoughts, words and actions to ensure that I am staying true to myself and God as I journey through university. It also helps that I am doing this alongside my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, whom I know I can count on when I need support or prayers!
