Redemption in Jesus

Many a times, we deprive ourselves of salvation because of our own guilt and shame, thinking we are not deserving of the light, that our darkness is where we belong. But Jesus comes today to remind us of His redemptive power, that through Him we are redeemed; but only when we look up, hold His hand and come out of the darkness will we be truly saved. Salvation requires a response on our part to Jesus’ redeeming love through the cross.
