The Good Shepherd

by Calvin Tang

Sometimes, when we think we know better, we go astray, often to the brink of doom. However, God is like the Good Shepherd, who looks out for us. The Father loves us always and chases after the lost sheep, and will always save us because He deeply loves and cares for us.

Before the School of Witness, I felt I was like this sheep, gone astray on a self destructive path. However, in SOW after coming home to the Father, He helped pull me away from this dangerous path, akin to the Good Shepherd using his staff to save the sheep. The Father truly cares about every child, just as the Shepherd leaves the 99 to find the 1 lost sheep.
