The Holy Spirit is in Me

by Christabel Neo

As I was reflecting about the Holy Spirit, I was reminded of this particular stargazing scene from the movie Abominable, where Peng says “even though we can’t see them, we’ll still know they’re there.” This perfectly sums up my relationship with the Holy Spirit. In the past, the Holy Spirit was but an addition to the Holy Trinity. Yet the Lord reveals to me His constant presence by giving us the gift of the Holy Spirit. The night sky perfectly reminds me of the Lord’s loving presence in my life. I’ve come to recognise that every star in the sky is shining and piercing through my darkness, and there is no fear. I am called to be courageous in my walk with the Lord and I can, because the Spirit of the Living God is in me.

Truth Be Told: I am Made for More.

Most of my life has been a search for meaning and purpose. For many years, I believed that success was the answer. I worked hard, and eventually  secured a job that I was both excited and passionate about.  I did well at my job. Everything seemed to be falling into place.
